We've been using Microsoft C 6.0 with a real IBM 8514.  There
aren't any routes through MS C to the 8514 microcode; we just used
the 8514 software that comes with it.  Haven't got the mouse
going on the 8514 yet, but as I don't use one, not a problem!

Turbo C has the 8514 support built-in, just as an aside.
