Depending on when Glen told you about it, it may have come from Jef. He was
the guest speaker at the Real-Time Programming Convention held in Anaheim in
1988.  If my memory serves me correctly the quote was:
        "The only thing that Chuck did wrong in Forth was the
         curvature of the ellipsis."

He would have rather your example was like this:

        ( DUP ROT . )
