Lines: 13 I am interested in finding out if there is some software allready written that can handle interfacing with car computers. I have heard that alot of the new cars have these, and when in need of service, they simply plug into a computer and all the details of the cars performance, faults etc are "downloaded" and analysed. I cant imagine what format the information would be in, and wouldnt know where to start if i was to have a program written to do the job. This software (if available) would preferably be for the IBM machine but i would still be keen on hearing about any others available. thanks in advance for any info. proteus@sideways.gen.nz
