I think I may be able to get a faster answer here than by reading source.
(I'm probably wrong.)

Can you run 16-bit chmem on all those 32-bit binaries, while in 16-bit
Minix?  Will this somehow destroy the 32-bit binaries?  Will it work
correctly?  (I think it may [work correctly], because the 80386 is a
little-endian machine, but I'm not sure.)
