Message-ID: <1579@seq.uncwil.edu> Date: 25 May 91 02:14:24 GMT Organization: Univ. of North Carolina @ Wilmington Lines: 21 I received minix 1.5 today from PH. Problem is, the people who ordered it for me ordered 3.5 disks (my B drive) where as my A (bootable) drive is a 5.25. My question is how can I successfully boot minix now? I did a (DOS) diskcopy of the 3.5's to 5.25's and tried booting that way. I figured since diskcopy is a sector by sector copy, this may work, and it kind of does. But I get unrecoverable disk errors when using the 5.25's, I assume due to the different size of the disks. Is there anything I can do? Preferably boot from B with the disks that PH sent. Thanks in advance for any insight. ----------------------------------------------------------- | David F.
