There was a discussion not long ago about the advantages/disadvantages
of using CALL GATES rather than INTerrupts for OS calls. At the time, this
was of little interest to me, but now that the articles have disapeared forever
from my site, I find that I need to know the adv' / disadv'es.

I don't want to re-open that can of worms on the net, so could someone
e-mail me a summary.

I'll pass any info I get on to anyone else who's interested (and asks me)
