If so, does it support remote printers and remote daemons ? I have written a printerd/printerdc combination which listens on the printer socket and understands the lpd protocol coming from a Sun. This was so the Sun could send to the laser printer on our OS-9 system. It is not a complete implementation, and there are some laser-jet specifics in it. It understands the -i (indent) option, and uses -l to mean "little", to give the small line-printer font. It does not depend on our Print Spooler, but can happily co-exist with it.
