The Altos system runs "Altos UNIX System V/386 release 3.2" which is a SCO UNIX System V/386 release 3.2 based system. It would be nice if there was data correction and the ability to queue the transfer requests for late night transfers. I have very little experience working with data transferring software and would appreciate any input on UNIX/PC compatible programs. I hear there is software available by anonymous ftp but, I may or may not have the opportunity to use ftp. The following is a list of some software that was suggested, any ideas where to look? zoo (For UNIX and DOS) uupc (Can I assume this is uucp for a DOS PC system?) xmodem ymodem Please send any response to me. Thanks in advance -ack (ack@sequent.com)
