Lines: 21 Hi, I have allready got a book titled "Computer Networks" by "Tanenbaum" published by "Prentice Hall" and have found it to be interesting and useful reading. However I have covered some of this (ISO related stuff & other bits) when I was doing my National Diploma in Computer Science course, I would now like references to any other books that would help expand my knowladge of Networks / Networking and also books that would introduce me to new ideas in the IT/CIT areas. The reason why im interested in these subjects(and any others you feel I might benefit in knowing) is because I will be starting a day release course which will lead me to doing a Degree course at a University later on. I think that the type of replys I would find usefull would be a> ones that send a list of books to look at and b> people that have views that want to share. Either way I would prefer direct replys so that I don't need to keep checking the Net, but I shall of course summerise the replys I get to the net. If you want something to work on then any IP/Usenet related stuff would be nice as well hase info on Servers as well. I know that im asking a lot here but im rely interested in this and in educating my self in these fields, Im *not* wasting time! Thanks in advance! PS.
