If you're wondering why I just -happened- to pick 32 for register 21, it's because that was the value for the modem on my PC clone (that works properly). i.e. when I use *70 to disable call-waiting, it ignores any semblance of an incoming call, and doesn't spew lots of characters to the screen. Also, when NOT using *70, an incoming call immediately drops DTR, disconnecting the session, and allows the phone to ring next time around. Hope this helps others with this problem. Scott
