This has probably been asked before, but is there a program that will
convert GIF to some kind of RAW format? 
If I convert GIF to IFF, I will loose some information, right?
Like 6 bit to 4 bit RGB, and if it was a 256-color GIF and it was
converted to HAM, I will not be able to go back to the original 256 colors.
