I'd like to redirect spoolfiles from the HP 840 to the 3500. I used SAM on the 840 to configure the remote printer (works fine if I'm sending output to another HPUX system) but I can't seem to send files to the 3500. I can Telnet and FTP to it, even rsh from it to the 840 so I know the connection is good. Can anyone give me any idea what it will take to go? Perhaps some hints or "rc file bits" ? I can print locally fine. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------- You need to add the remote node to the Apollo's /etc/hosts.lpd file to authorize it for remote printing to the Apollo.
