I am running a clean 5.0.4 system. All my DAs, CDEVs and inits were disabled except for aufs.init. I do NOT have appletalk installed not am I on a network, possibly making this a moot point. If I had aufs.init enabled, ALL of the DAs, CDEVs, and inits would be loaded! If I disabled it, everything marked enabled would be loaded, but those marked as disabled wouldn't be loaded (the normal behavior). I may have something flakey going on, but imagine my surprise when talking mouse came up in the finder. I hadn't had that thing enabled for years. I also had the RAMFAST driver enabled too. Todd, can you repeat this? Brendan G. Hoar bh1e+@andrew.cmu.edu 1641 Mt. Eagle Pl. Alexandria, VA 22302 (703) 998-5687/8657/8032
