It just has to be said every now and then. MIDI Synth is not a released product and is not licensed for electronic distribution anywhere. It's on America Online through a hole in the licensing agreement Apple has not yet chosen to close. Revision of standard licensing agreements is underway because of this loophole (and is delaying electronic licensing of some things you'd like to see online). The only way MIDI Synth is officially available as a stand-alone package is through APDA. The package includes synthLAB, as well as developer documentation for the MIDI Synth tool calls.
