TAC1 = VAXstation 2000, Satellite in LAVC. Has a local RD54. Running VMS 5.3-1. Originally had 6 Mb ( 4Mb + 2 Mb resident ). Swapped out the 4Mb DEC board and installed a 3rd party 12Mb board. Booted the system up, did show memory and there is was 14mb. TAC2 = VAXstation 2000, Standalone system with RD54 and TK50 in an expansion box. Running VMS 5.4-1. Same memory config as TAC1. Swapped out the 4MB board, rebooted the system. When I do a show memory, only 4Mb show up. Had our hardware FE do the installation and he was at a loss as to what is going on. He ran diagnostics, negative. If anyone has run into this before, or has any ideas/hints/suggestions/words_of_wisdom reagarding this problem i would appreciate any and all. --- ================================================================== | Allen C.
