Keywords: is it possible? Message-ID: <1991May25.153236.9017@spock.UUCP> Date: 25 May 91 15:32:36 GMT Distribution: na Organization: Choate Rosemary Hall Lines: 22 Has anybody had any success using SLIP (of any kind) on a decstation 2100 or 3100 over the serial ports? I'm running Ultrix 3.1D. The slip that comes with the ultrix distribution doesn't seem to work at all. I took that out and put in CSLIP, which works over LAT terminals but hangs the machine completely (i.e., the pointer doesn't even follow the mouse any more!!!) when I try to use it on a serial line. I think the serial ports on these machines are absolutely horrid, incidentally. Any and all help appreciated!!
