EFHD Ypsilanti Operations Lines: 22 I'm trying to bring up GNU Emacs on an HP9000/825 which, for reasons not germane to this discussion, is still running HP-UX 2.1 (remember, this is an 800 series). process.c will NOT compile due to inconsistancies in the WAIT* definitions. I've tried every combination of define/undef I can think of to no avail. On our 835 under HP-UX 7.0, emacs compiles without incident. Runs too :-) Apparently I haven't uttered the right incantation nor worn the right color jockstrap while dancing under the New Moon while waving a rubber chicken over my head. (Wait - that last is for hard disk problems, darn!) All half-baked levity aside, can anyone point me in the right direction. No, I CANNOT upgrade to 7.0. You DON'T want to know why, believe me. Thanks in advance. -- Bill Meahan |Product Design & Testing Section Production Test Engineer |Starter Motor Engineering wwm@pmsmam | +1 313 484 9320
