Following up the last few postings about 9<->25 cables, I am wondering
whether it is possible to make use the internal modem port as a generic
serial port.

On my T1000SE, the modem port contains about 10 pins. Does anybody know
how to use this port as a generic serial port?  (Obviously some of the pins
have to do with power supply).
