What I need to know is the various hardware programming parameters for the pc's floppy chip (uPD765). I am using the same chip, and the data sheet says nothing about the various pc formats. Does anybody have this necessary information (gap length, etc.). I have deduced some of the parameters (sectors per track, tracks) but need a good table of specifics for 5 1/4" 360k, 5 1/4" 1.2meg, 3 1/2" 760k, and 3 1/2" 1.44meg formats. If there is sufficient intrest, I will post as well. If anybody has a driver for the small cartrige tapes that run off of floppy controllers as well, that would be helpful too. Thanks for the help. ----- Tom Watson (johana!tsw@apple.com) Just somebody in Sillycon Valley. No, I don't play golf, or run a big blue company.
