Message-ID: <91143.122632RBYAML@ROHVM1.BITNET> Date: 23 May 91 17:26:32 GMT Organization: Rohm and Haas Company Lines: 24 A colleague has a number of unidentified MCA boards in a cupboard, and asked me for help in identifying them. Is there a way to read the device number from the card, and look that up in some list somewhere, or do I have to resort to wild guesses? (I'm not too familiar with PS/2s, but the reference disk setup can tell whether I insert the correct reference disk for a device, so I presume it is reading something from the card that tells it what reference file to look for. Is there a utility that will report that reference number to me, or am I mistaken is thinking that the Reference diskette won't print the information on the screen for me.) I'll monitor this group for a few weeks, time/workload permitting, but e-mail replies would be greatly appreciated.
