I am trying to convince the maths teachers of a school here to purchase Macintosh computers rather than the Archimedes (they already have a number of Macs in their department, so it would make sense to buy more of the same, not to mention the obvious advantages of the Macintosh & System 7.0 over those PC-type things). What they want to do is have the teacher display colour graphs of various mathematical functions for the whole class to see, using a large monitor (which they have). They claim that they have not seen any software for the Macintosh which would be suitable for their class demonstration needs - can anyone tell me please of any applications which would be appropriate?
