Well I went ahead and upgraded to Apply Sys 7.0 despite the
compatibility checkre saying Norton was "incompatible".  I have
version 1.0  Called Symantec and they said the Norton for Mac
upgrade wont be until june/july.  

Why do I remember (or am I losing it?) some tips people had
for Norton with Sys 7.0 w.r.t. aliases and things of that nature?
When I try to run Norton DiskDoctor it stops on "Checking Allocation"
for my 3rd party 30Mb HD - saying that Norton cannot handle this
sys 7.0 on this disk.  Speed Disk simply quits.  Ideas and tips
would be very welcome....it's too bad Symantec didn't anticipate
7.0 earlier.  ;-)
