I have been trying to find out how to produce RS-170 standard video
signals from Apple's current line of video cards, i.e. 4.8, 8.24, and
8.24GC. This would allow me to videotape monochrome animations
directly from my standard video card. Their literature advertises the
capability, however, there is no documentation and no dealer or Apple
tech support line can help me. I assume there is a special cable
configuration which allows this as these cards sense the type of
monitor connected and adjust themselves accordingly. Is there any
cable which I can buy or make which allows me to take advantage of
this capability?
