If you've got some documentation about the commands your laser disk player can receive, you don't need any special laser disk XCMDS. We've got a mac/laser disk application that uses serial port XCMDS (specifically those written by Harry Chesley -- generally available via ftp) to send and receive information with the laser disk player (in our case, Pioneer).
