I work a Tektronics, and we have several Macs with LaCie hard drives.  I
have tried to install system 7.0 on two of these machine and the
installer crashed 
both of the machines.  I called LaCie and they said that we would have to
upgrade to silverlining 5.30, since the older version of silverlining
are incompatible with system 7.0.  Has anybody else had this problem and
if not, what might we be doing wrong?
