I got DiskCopy and system 7 from ftp.apple.com, and am doing this work on a Mac II with the Dove enhancement (I think that makes it a IIx...). DiskCopy seems to load the images alright but after it prompts me to insert a diskette when I try to make a copy it "Quits Unexpectedly" with various error numbers (28, 1, 64(?)). After that it is necessary to restart the machine. I cannot figure out if this is a problem with DiskCopy, the image files or the hardware. It acts this way no matter which image file I try to use. Using a different floppy disk seems to have no effect. When I try to use it to copy a floppy of my own it bombs at the same point. It reads the master floppy alright, but quits when it tries to make a copy. I am using the Virex 3.2 init and some others...I wonder if any of the inits are getting in the way of DiskCopy working properly. I used `mcvert' on the Sun workstation to "de-hqx" all the downloaded files and Unstuffit Deluxe to unstuff them. Any ideas??
