When I boot up my roomate's SE/30 when I flip the power switch on, The welcome
to Macintosh Dialog shows on the screen for under a second, and I get the
System bomb "Not Enough Memory while using". I click on the restart button, the
machine freezes, I push restart on the programmer's switch, and voila, it now
works. What's up?

The SE/30 has 2 megs RAM, and I updated the driver on the 40 meg hard drive,
before I usaed VM on it.
