Help, please!

I have the "Dinner at Eight" program version 1.03 for storing recipes on 
the Macintosh.  It has no import or export facilities, and even the Cut 
and Paste functions ignore the Clipboard.

1. Is there a way to get text from other files into the program without 
   retyping?

2. Is there another version of the program that solves this problem?
   How do I get it?

3. (P.S. - Are there new recipe Editions for it?  My latest is 1986.)
