Summary: is it safe to have multiple inodes for the same device? Message-ID: <1991May24.142146.28886@sobeco.com> Date: 24 May 91 14:21:46 GMT Sender: jlee@sobeco.com (Jeff Lee) Reply-To: jlee@sobeco.com (Jeff Lee) Organization: Sobeco Inc. This will result in several different inodes being assigned for the same device. Is this always safe, or can some devices get confused if openned/closed via more than one inode at once?
