Many times after some extensive OD access, something must got messed up so that I was not able to eject the disk. I know that a device busy message will be given if any process is accessing the OD or even a terminal cd to a directory on the OD. I made sure I quit ALL except workspace, still can't eject disk. I then launch the terminal to check the processes with ps -aux. None of the process has anything to do with OD, but I JUST couldn't eject the disk. Is there anyway I can get rid of this trouble without leaving my OD in an inconsistant state? -- cyliao@bagend.eng.umd.edu o Q. Who am I? NeXTmail o.k. o A.
