I'm having trouble getting UUCP to work on my decstation. What happens
is this: 

I run uucico from my NeXTstation(local) to a decstation3100(remote) with :

/etc/uucp/uucico -r1 -x6 -spsl

The modem dials out and the call connects. The decstation sends
"Shere" and the NeXT responds with "Szaphod -Q0"(or something to that
effect) and then the NEXT says "waiting for SYNC" and nothing happens
until the connection times out. In the LOGFILE on the remote machine,
I get:

Uzaphod pslu1 (5/22-21:54-20203) TIMEOUT (pslu1)


What is going on here? How can I get the remote uucico to tell me what
is going wrong? What is the next step in the protocol. Where do I look
for the protocol?
