NeXT Publications will be publishing the material formerly covered in Concepts (the single, unwieldy volume) as a series of manuals on individual topics.  A couple of advantages to this approach are that it makes it easier for you to find what you're looking for, and easier for us to publish material in a timely manner -- we don't have to produce a whole >1000 page tome at once.  (Remember those <<this discussion is not yet available>>'s in 1.0 Concepts?  The Concepts series won't have any.)

Manuals in the series that are currently going through first draft writing are:

- NeXTstep Overview
- User Interface Guidelines
- Programming in Objective-C
- Drawing
- Event Handling
- Interface Builder Tutorial and Reference

To get real-world input and further expedite availability, we plan to put drafts on archive servers for outside review before we publish the printed version.  Your comments will be welcome, and will definitely affect the quality and content of the finished product.  The first several drafts should appear in June.
