In case anyone is interested, Maxtor has just released the specs on their new
3.5" drive. It has a capacity of 1 Gigabytes. It also has an access rate of
10 ms. They are aiming for $1 per magabyte so this drive should be about $1000
in quantity. Sure looks like a great time for Next to come out with a portable.
