Specifically, we would like to be able to send a FAX (via a NeXT) from any one of our PCs (which all run PC-NFS) and from UNIX systems (Suns and DECs). There are some packages for the Sun that allow you to do this in a very nice way: you set the FAX up as an lpr printer; if you send it PostScript, then it digitizes it and sends it off; if you send it text, if first converts it to PS and then digitizes it. It also handles mail (e.g. mail it to fax@sun..., with a subject of the number to dial). Can it be done? Thanks very much...Ross. -- Please email -- I'll summarize.
