Message-ID: Date: 23 May 91 20:02:07 GMT Sender: news@ugle.unit.no Distribution: comp Organization: Kvatro A/S, Trondheim, Norway Lines: 26 I need to create temporary files which will automatically be deleted when the process using it terminates. However, the 'tmpfile' call creates a temporary file using a name generated by tmpnam(3S). Is there a way I can give my own names to such files (SunOS, SCO3.2)? Please reply to me, as I have a feeling this is obvious, I just can't find what I need... Thanks, Dag -- ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Dag H.
