Get an airline comfort receptacle ready, here's the trick I used to use: Create ~news/.rhosts containing: localhost instead of using "su", use rlogin localhost -l news (that can be in a script if you prefer.) Of course, the best long-term solution is to get the McManus/Bryant "su" which mashes the luid when you run it.
