I cannot set my ATI VGA wonder+(512k) to 800*600 resolution on my x11r3. According to the Relese Notes, 1) rewrite kd.h as SW_GEN_800*600 2)in order to set the video card, fd = open("/dev/video", O_RDWR); ioctl(fd, SW_GEN_800*600, 0); I wonder how and when I should run the above 'program'. If someone on the net knows the procedure, I would be happy to make me know it. The following is my environment; 386AT clone (Hawk Computers) 33MHz with 387 ATI VGA Wonder+ with 512K memory Adaptec's AHA-1542B and MAXTOR's LXT-200s + LXT-213s Intel's SVR4 v.2.0 from Programmer's Connection.
