Yesterday I posted a short description of my difficulties when starting up
a Bind/Hesiod hesupd daemon under Ultrix 4.1. The problem was solved quickly
due to the feedback from

to whom I am very grateful. The problem was, in all its simplicity, that
Bindsetup put the bindmaster alias on the line
127.0.0.1 localhost me
in the /etc/hosts file instead on the line with my true node name. It was
OK all the time in the hosts.db file, but that was obviously not enough.
