To further reduce naming confusion, might I suggest calling this
family the "Hacker" family ("Hacker-1," etc.) to avoid confusion with
Trojan Horses.  Some people refer to Trojan Horse programs simply as
"Horses" instead of Trojan Horses or Trojans.
