This would allow you to write code on a UNIX/Motif environment and then port the code to a DOS machine by linking the code with the SDK. This would assume that a mapping scheme between Xt/Xlib and SDK functions would be possible.... Of course, OSF holds the licence for Motif, so I'm not sure on the commercial aspects of this idea.
