I searched through my archived XPERT messages and I couldn't find anything although I'm pretty sure this topic has already been discussed. Ok, here it is : I'm trying to build Xfig V2.0 on a DECstation 5000 running Ultrix V4.1 and the DECwindows X server (*not* the MIT server). At link time, I get a duplicate definition error message for calloc in libc.a. I tried to find another definition of calloc in the libX11.a library and Xfig source modules without success. Can anybody help ? Please reply by mail, I had to signoff XPERT for until I have some more spare time to handle its volume.
