Message-ID: <10562@castle.ed.ac.uk> Date: 26 May 91 23:20:55 GMT Organization: Put your analyst on danger money, baby! Lines: 11 I'm trying to get someone else's software to run on my machine, and the trouble is it's silently dying before it does anything. I've used printfs to track the death down to a call to XOpenDisplay, during which the application silently exits before the print statement following is reached. Furthermore, the display name being handed to it is perfectly valid. What on earth is going on? Has anyone heard of such a bug?
