I can't beleive people can be so cruel. I am not handicapped myself, but my daughter is mentally retarded or more correctly multiply handicapped. 3 years ago we were trying to get her into a more mainstreamed school program and went part way through the legal process. We got assistance from a division of Legal Aid Society that is set up specifically for Handicapped. It required no fees from us unless it actually went to court then it would be only court fees (we were told about $150 to $300 ). I don't know if this is a statewide organization or not but you could always see if there is a similar program in your state, there probably is! I hope you do carry it through to that and teach her a lesson that she and others won't forget. Thanks, Ray Kopp rjkopp@suvm.acs.syr.edu P.S. Does anyone know of other newgroups of parents of children with handicapped conditions?
