It is truly amazing that the Secret Service is requesting that a blind
person leave a dog guide at home when visiting the White House.  Let's
hear it for the President who signed the ADA into law.  I suggest that
if insisting that you bring your dog along does not work, you should
write a letter to the President, explaining (GEorge seems intelligent
most of the time; I think he'll notice the contradiction) that this is
not the greatest way to assure implementation of the Act he allegedly
supports.  Hail to the Chief--but then, maybe they have a point.  We
wouldn't want Millie--First Dog--to have another litter, would we?
Fathered by a dog guide--heavens, how embarrassing!  Let's hear it for
equal opportunity.
