              References to ANN application development techniques.

I am about to start the development of a handbook on application development
techniques appropriate to the creation of ANN based systems. The handbook is
intended as a guide to the software engineer when analysising problems and
developing a suitable ANN application for that problem. The actual handbook
will initially be limited to a single ANN paradigm, however I am seeking
references on this subject to compliment the empirical information already to
hand.

Consequently, any reference to the software engineering of ANN's would be
greatly appreciated.
