When I talk to my friend, who am I *really* talking with, his creator? Who is the creator of the intelligence in us. Genes? Doesn't sound likely, at least for most part. Our surroundings? I'd go for that one, although it may sound a little strange. Perhaps, whenever we discuss with someone, we are discussing with some part of the reality, the specific part that the individual has encountered, combined with the person's physical structure. So, where is the intelligence? I am not very familiar with Spinoza, but he might have something to say to this....other than that, I have no clue. Anyone? >-Pat LoPresti (patl@athena.mit.edu) Krista
