Tough career decisions in college.... Keywords: Career as an architect???? Message-ID: Date: 29 May 91 16:28:47 GMT Sender: news@galaxy.rutgers.edu Distribution: comp Lines: 28 Nntp-Posting-Host: andromeda.rutgers.edu Greetings, I know that this article probably does not belong in comp.arch, but I didn't know where to ask a question about a career as an architect. I am currently in Rutgers University, just finished my dreadful freshman year as an engineering major (yuk!) and I am thinking about switching my major as well as my future career to architecture. My question to you is; Do you architects like what you are doing? Do you regret choosing this career path? Is being an architect one of those jobs where you have smiles on pay-days and frowns on other regular work-days? I like drawing and designing alot, but I know architecture involes far more than that. I know all you out there had to make this kind of decision once in your life time.... So advices and comments are welcomed. Thanks in advance. -- Mingoo Kim Rutgers University kim@andromeda.rutgers.edu P.S. A list of good architecture colleges?
