I recently upgraded a sun3 with this board from SunOS 3.5 to SunOS 4.1.1, and I'm having trouble modifying the device driver. I was able to hack things enough to put together a new kernel, but when I boot it I get this message about the VIP board: May 28 11:42:01 orient vmunix: VIP0: FGRACT not zero May 28 11:42:01 orient vmunix: VIP1: No memory May 28 11:42:01 orient vmunix: VIP2: No memory If you have a similar setup, please drop me a line telling me how you got your kernel configured for this board. Thank you. --Doug Smith Grad. Student/Systems Programmer University of Arizona
