My favorite definition of Object-Oriented Programming:

"A paradigm focusing on data structures, providing methods for operating on
those data structures, and providing inheritance."
        - Paul Snow

It's my favorite because Paul was able to write it on the back of my business
card at a Rochester conference.  (Some producer -- who? -- once said that if
you couldn't write your idea on the back of his business card, you didn't have
a clear idea.)

Now, does anyone want to elaborate on Paul's definition?
