Message-ID: <1991May30.110442.1@hulaw1.harvard.edu> Date: 30 May 91 15:04:42 GMT Sender: news@husc6.harvard.edu Organization: Harvard Business School Lines: 22 Hi, I've downloaded elm, and have it compiled. During the configuration, it mentions what I think are UUCP files, "pathalias", and some sort of "domain" file. Being that I don't have UUCP set up on my machine, I have no experience with the files or UUCP terminology. I'm running a Sun 4.1.1 SPARCstation. I've given a 1/2 hour to the UUCP secton of the Sun docs and I'm still confused. What are these files? Do they govern how I would forward address resolution to a more helpful machine? If this is an FAQ, reply to me, or if it's a RTFM, tell me where! -James +----------------------------------------------------------------------------+ | James Peregrino | JPEREGRINO@HBSSTG.HARVARD.EDU | | Programmer/Analyst | PEREGRIN@HULAW1.BITNET | | Science & Technology Interest Group +-----------------------------------+ | Harvard Business School | yawn...my clever saying is boring | Boston, MA 02163 | me today. | Voice:(617)495-6307 FAX:(617)495-0351 | +----------------------------------------+
